I actually did do Motivation Tuesday but I forgot to share it here. :)
I changed the wallpaper on my phone. I was thinking where I could surround myself with motivation... You know how some people put pictures of the body you want on the fridge?
Like this:
But how do I explain to my kids that I need to take their pictures down so that Mommy can look at fit girls? Yeah... that won't work. So I decided to get a bunch of wallpapers for my phone. That way I can change it up. So off I went to pinterest and found quite a few.
Here's the link to my motivational phone wallpaper board on pinterest.
My current phone wallpaper is:
Now if that isn't motivation... I'm not sure what is! :)

Motivation Tuesday...or Wednesday
Tomorrow marks 4 wks of healthy eating. In some ways it feels like forever and others it feels like just yesterday. I decided to do before/after pics today and will post weigh in info tomorrow. Before I do that I found a link for motivational music. (confidence boosting) Music can totally change my mood any day. So I thought I'd share the link with you.
Confidence Boosting Music
Ok so the pic. Honestly I feel like I lost more than the pictures show. I notice a difference in how clothes fit, I feel better overall. All rhe right stepa in the right direction I guess. :)

Motivation Tuesday
There are so many days I feel this way. Take weight loss seriously or zip it! I'm working hard at this, I really can't stand people who say "oh you're so lucky you're losing weight." Lucky? I'm working my butt off for this. My days are consumed by this. It's on my brain 24/7. This isn't luck, this is hard work, dedication. This is me giving it my all!
I'm feeling guilty because I skipped the gym today. I'm exhausted. The time change is kicking my butt. Not to mention the stress and million and one things I need to get done for Munchkins birthday on the weekend. I was so exhausted today I've felt sick. I decided to take my lunch hour to just sit it out. To have me time. To do nothing. I haven't done nothing in what feels like weeks. I know I needed it, but the below image made me feel even guiltier.
This last one made me feel better. I didn't workout today, but I did eat well. I stayed focused... so I am a step ahead.

Motivational Tuesday
I just got finished day 2 week 2 of couch to 5k, I'm eating my taco lettuce wraps and am thinking, man, I feel good! How is it that you forget what good feels like when you get off track?
So I did as I said, I made myself a reward chart for my weightloss. I'm pretty excited about it. It's not about spending lots of money, and while I REALLY wanted to put "drink the bottle of wine that's calling my name in the fridge" I decided I don't want food or drink related rewards. I'm trying to break myself of that. (Plus I've promised myself a glass of wine for my birthday. Perhaps another for Easter... moderation... it's all good in moderation.)
Here's my reward chart:
I'll also modify with the dates that I reached that goal. To me, this is TOTALLY motivational. While some might say, "Just go get... a new water bottle, or a new case" I have a hard time buying things like that with kids, bills and a household. I haven't gotten my haircut in a year. I think that alone explains how often I spend money on myself. Oh... and the "shopping spree" is at a consignment store. I'm all about picking the right pieces, but cannot afford a whole new wardrobe at once.
Fingers crossed I get my first reward this week! :)

Motivation Tuesday
Every once in a while you need a pick me up. I was pretty discouraged over the weekend. Not that I expected immediate results. I think the shock of weigh in just settled in. While I stuck to plan I just couldn't seem to get out of a funk. Yesterday I decided to get some exercise in. Sweat out my blues.... So this is so appropriate!
The next one is such a strong sentiment. I don't want to find it again. I want to throw it away, burn it, throw it off of a cliff into a blackhole in the ocean!
I've gotten back to the gym and this really spoke to me. I'm in quite a bit of pain. Muscles I haven't used in a long while are hurting, but to me that's progress... I feel what I'm doing working! :)

A little motivation...
Every once in a while I come accross a quote or picture or saying that really hits home. I had just finished playing doctor with the kiddos when Munchkinette asked what the marks were on my stomach. She then asked if they hurt. Then she said they were kinda yucky. I know it was complete innosense on her part but it still stung... like wow... my stomach can't even get passed a 4 year old. Ouch... Then it wasn't an hour later I saw this... and sad/negative feelings were gone. :)

Now to work on the flat tummy. :)
